The life and legend of jazz great Monty Alexander. Told, with the artist's full participation, through his amazing stories and lively interactions with those in the know. Filmed in Jamaica, Los Angeles, New York and Montreux. An independent Obelisk production in association with MTM, LLC.

EPISODIC TELEVISION

Social passion, liberation and spy-craft, set against the backdrop of the tropics during the cold war.

Inspired by actual events, the series transports audiences into a colorful world at a unique moment in history. It’s a world  full of glamour, wit, and intrigue. HIGH HOPE is a vivid, character-driven show set in the Caribbean during the turbulent 1960’s and ’70’s. A dangerous and high-stakes conspiracy drives the plot. The series evokes the intersection of "The Night Manager" and "The White Lotus", with the suspense of a Bond thriller. An unrivaled soundtrack, stunning Island locations and a fascinating female character beat at the heart of HIGH HOPE.

DOCUMENTARY SERIES

Episode 2  "Track & Field Jamaica" currently in post-production.)

The series pilot features a journey into the rarely seen world of senior competitive race-car drivers. They drive highly-tuned Porsche machines on demanding racetracks like Sebring. To have a chance at victory they must push themselves beyond the norms of mental and physical age limits. Fulfillment is found in fierce competition and … in the camaraderie with fellow drivers. 

FEATURE DOCUMENTARY

 The compelling story of Kitty Owen Spence, who cast her own brilliant light across the 20th century. She was, at various times, a glamorous model, an advocate for social justice, a celebrated salon host, and a friend and confidante to movie stars, atomic physicists, world leaders, and … a network of global espionage agents.  

Based upon her own, recently discovered, memoirs.
 

EPISODIC TELEVISION

A serialized character-driven show, with the underbelly of sports providing a colorful backdrop. The narratives are drawn from former Dodgers General Manager Ned Colletti’s collected stories. The action-drama portrays a sub-culture most people don't know exists; a world of deception and betrayal, kidnapping, rescue, fall and redemption. With it's strong human touch, there’s music, joy, passion and ... the thrill of winning.

FEATURE DOCUMENTARY

A feature hybrid-documentary that, with humor and irony, tells the true story of the making of the ground breaking article In Rolling Stone that first introduced the world to Bob Marley, “The Harder They Come”, and the emergence of the power of Reggae.

SPECIAL EVENT

A previously unseen treasure-trove of images telling the story of a long-gone society; where if they wanted music they made it, and they spoke of the dead in present tenses.
